Production and costs in construction
In March 2017 the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction compared with the previous month increased by 0.3%. In the quarter Jan-Mar 2017 the index increased by 0.4% with respect to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector increased by 3.0% compared with the same month of the previous year (calendar working days being 23 vs 22 in March 2016). In the period January-March 2017 the index remained unchanged in comparison with the same period of 2016.
In March 2017 the unadjusted index of production in the construction sector increased by 6.6% compared with March 2016. The average index of the first three months of 2017 was 1.8% higher in comparison with the same period of 2016.
