Production in construction

In September 2013 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 1.8% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter July-September, with respect to the previous quarter, increased by 1.6%.

The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in September 2013 decreased by 6.1% compared with September 2012 (calendar working days were 21 versus 20 in September 2012); in the average in the period January- September 2013 the index decreased by 11.2% compared with the same period of 2012.

The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 2.8% compared with September 2012. Comparing the average of the first nine months of 2013 with the same period of 2012 the index decreased by 11.2%.
