Production in construction
In May 2013 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 2.0% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter March-May, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 5.3%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in May 2013 decreased by 15.2% compared with May 2012 (calendar working days were 22 as in May 2012); in the period January-May 2013 the percentage change was -12.5% compared with the same period of 2012.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 15.2% compared with May 2012. Comparing the average of the first five months of 2013 with the same period of 2012 the index decreased by 12.7%.
