Production in construction
In December 2012 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 1.6% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter October-December, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 3.3%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 15.4% compared with December 2011 (calendar working days were 19 versus 20 in December 2011); in the average of 2012 the index decreased by 14.2% compared with the same period of 2011.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 18.3% compared with December 2011. Comparing the average of 2012 with the same period of 2011 the index decreased by 14%.
