Production in construction
In September 2012 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 8.0% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter July-September, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 2.0%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 17.8% compared with September 2011 (calendar working days were 20 versus 22 in September 2011); in the period January-September 2012 the index decreased by 14.0% compared with the same period of 2011.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 23.4% compared with September 2011. Comparing the average of the first nine months of 2012 with the same period of 2011 the index decreased by 14.1%.
