Production in construction
In August 2012 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 5.3% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter June-August, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 1.7%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 9.0% compared with August 2011 (calendar working days were 22 as in August 2011); in the period January-August 2012 the index decreased by 13.6% compared with the same period of 2011.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 8.9% compared with August 2011. Comparing the average of the first eight months of 2012 with the same period of 2011 the index decreased by 12.8%.
