Production in construction
In February 2012 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 9.9% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter December-February, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 6.3%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in February 2012 decreased by 23% compared with February 2011 (calendar working days were 21 versus 20 in February 2011); in the period January-February 2012 the percentage change was -17.1% compared with the same period of 2011.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 20.3% compared with February 2012. Comparing the average of the first two months of 2012 with the same period of 2011 the index decreased by 14.2%
