Services producer prices - Q1 2026

In the first quarter 2026, services producer prices in the business market increased by 1.2% compared with the previous quarter and by 2.7% compared to the same quarter of the previous year (up from +1.9% in the fourth quarter 2025).

Quarterly growth was steady compared to the previous quarter and was widespread across almost all economic activities. It was most marked for Transportation and storage (+2.7%), where increases were recorded across all sectors, with the highest rises for Freight air transport (+4.9%) and Water transport (+3.9%). Prices for Transportation and storage returned to year-on-year growth (+2.2%, from -0.8% in the fourth quarter 2025).
In the first quarter 2026, producer prices of Information and communication increased by 0.4% on quarterly basis and by 2.2% on annual basis (up from +1.6% in the fourth quarter 2025).

Producer prices of Professional, scientific, and technical activities increased by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter; the highest quarterly growth was recorded for Other professional, scientific and technical activities (+2.8%). On an annual basis, producer prices show a slowing growth rate (+2.8%, from +3.1% in the previous quarter).

Producer prices of Administrative and support service activities rose by 0.2% compared to the previous quarter, reflecting increases across all sectors except for Rental and leasing of motor vehicles (-2.2%) and Office administrative, office support and other business support activities (-0.7%). The year-on-year growth was +3.7% (down from +3.9% in the previous quarter).

In the first quarter 2026, services producer prices in total market (business and consumer) increased by 1.2% compared with the previous quarter and by 3.0% on a year-on-year basis (from +2.1% in the fourth quarter 2025).
