Production in the construction sector - April 2026

In April 2026, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction grew by 0.3% compared with March.

In the three months to April 2026, construction production rose by 0.4% compared with the previous three months period.

Year on year, the unadjusted index was up 7.4%, while the calendar-adjusted index increased by 2.7% (21 working days vs 20 in April 2025).

In the first four months of 2026, the unadjusted index rose by 3.0% and the calendar adjusted index increased by 1.6%.
