Export of Italian Regions - Q1 2026

In the first quarter of 2026, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period, for the South and Islands (+13.1%), for the Centre (+7.2%), for the North-west (+1.5%) and for the North-east (+0.8%).

In the first quarter of 2026, compared with the previous year, exports rose in the Centre (+13.8%), in the South (+7.1%) and in the North-west (+1.3%) whereas dropped in the Islands (-19.0%) and in the North-east (-2.4%).

In the first quarter of 2026, more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export increase, were recorded in Toscana (+30.2%), Veneto (+5.1%), Abruzzo (+23.5%), Marche (+15.5%) and Piemonte (+2.8%). More significant falls were recorded in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (-35.4%), Lazio (-11,4%) , Sicilia (-18,1%) , Sardegna (-21,1%) and Campania (-2.2%).
