Foreign trade with non-EU countries - April 2026
Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in April 2026 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in April 2026 will be disseminated on coming 15 June 2026.
In April 2026, exports to non-EU27 countries rose by 11.3% and imports increased by 5.8%, compared with the same month of the previous year.
In April 2026, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports decreased by 2.8% and imports increased by 1.3%, compared with March 2026. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 6.4% increase in outgoing flows and a 11.0% increase in incoming flows.
In April 2026, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 3,846 million euro compared with a surplus of 2,320 million euro in April 2025; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 9,173 million euro, up compared with a 6,515-million-euro surplus in April 2025.
