Building permits indicators - Q3 2025

In residential buildings, the number of dwellings increased (+5.8%) in the third quarter 2025 when compared with the previous quarter, useful floor area increased (+6.6%) too.

Non-residential buildings increased by 11.0% in the third quarter 2025 (quarter on previous quarter). The number of dwellings in new buildings decreased by 0.6% in the third quarter 2025 with respect to the same quarter a year earlier.

In comparison with the same quarter a year ago, the useful floor area was up 5.7%. Non-residential area increased by 11.1% in the third quarter 2025, compared with the same quarter a year ago, reversing the previous trend.
