Retail trade - October 2025
In October 2025, seasonally adjusted retail sales increased by 0.5% in value and by 0.4% in volume compared with September 2025.
In the three months to October 2025, retail sales were unchanged in value but decreased by 0.3% in volume compared with the previous three-month period.
On a year-on-year, retail sales in October 2025 increased by 1.3% in value, while remaining unchanged in volume.
Compared with October 2024, retail sales grew by 2.7% in large-scale distribution and by 1,1% in non-store sales, while it declined for small-scale distribution (-0.5%). Online sales rose by 4.6% over the same period.
Among non-food products, year-on-year trends varied across categories. The largest increase was recorded in Cosmetic and toilet articles (+4.2%), while the sharpest declines was observed in Electric household appliances, audio-video equipment (-2.2%).
