Confidence of manufacturing and construction enterprises

In February the seasonally adjusted confidence indicator in manufacturing worsened to 91.5 from 92.1 in January. Assessments on order books worsened, while production expectations and inventories improved. Differences emerged at sector and geographical level.

In February the seasonally adjusted confidence index in construction rose to 82.5 from 82.4 in January. Assessments of order books worsened (balance from -47 to -50), while employment expectations improved (the balance from -15 to -12).
