Consumer confidence

The confidence index increases in February from 91.8 to 94.2.

The result is mainly due to an improvement of the economic component, particularly focused on country overall economic situation. The economic climate increases from 76.0 to 86.7, and the short term expectations rise from 78.8 to 86.2.

In turn, there is a slight decrease of both Current and Personal Climate components.

The balance of replies concerning forecasts on unemployment declines from 96 to 82.

Finally, inflation perceptions referring to the last 12 months increased from 69 to 76 with respect to the previous month, while expectations for 12 months decreased from 57 to 39.
