Istat publications are accompanied by a factsheet containing bibliographical information and a brief description of the contents.
The printed editions are available from the Statistical Information Centres located in each region and autonomous province across the country. The volumes may also be purchased by filling in the order form (in Italian language).
The new technologies for statistical information dissemination brought about a gradual reduction in the print production to the benefit of the online one.
Since 2011 Istat’s editorial print production has been limited to the institutional publications – the Italian statistical yearbook, the Annual report – The state of the Nation, the Italian statistical abstract, Noi Italia-100 statistiche per capire il Paese in cui viviamo – and to few methodological and information products.
