In the second quarter of 2010 the producer price index in the sector of Postal and courier activities rose by 1.5% compared with the previous quarter and by 2.5% compared with the same quarter of 2009. The comparison between the average of the first two quarters 2010 and the correspondent one of 2009 gave a rise of 0.8%.
In the same period the index of Telecommunications fell by 0.6% compared with the previous quarter (-0.9% for wired telecommunications activities and 0.0% for wireless telecommunications activities) and decreased by 4.6% compared with the same quarter of the previous year (-2.9% for wired telecommunications activities and -8.7% for the wireless ones).
The percentage change of the first two quarters’ average 2010 compared with the correspondent one of 2009 was -5.7 (-4.4% for wired telecommunications activities and -9.0% for the wireless ones).
