(CIS) Community innovation survey
Year 2000

The file ISTAT_MFR_CIS_2000_EN.zip includes, in two different directories, the following files:
microdata example file, layout file with related codes and methodological notes.
The name of each file is defined by file tipology (MFR), acronym survey, its content, the reference period and optional theme.The microdata example file contains test data and it is defined with tab-delimited record. The test data are randomly generated. They are not eligible for analysis. The test data include all variables of the original data with the same variable name, variable label and value label.
Variables codes are collected in a single folder; each file name contains the number of the variables as defined in the layout.

(1) Selecting the layout file name you can read the description of layout with variable codes. We suggest you to check the coherence between decimal digits definded in layout file and international settings of used software
