In December, estimates for the seasonally adjusted turnover industrial index decreased by 2.7% in value (-2.5% in volume) when compared to the previous month (-3.0% in value and -2.7% in volume in the domestic market and -2.1% in value and -2.3% in volume in the non domestic one). For services, the seasonally adjusted turnover increased in the month on month series by 0.3% in value terms while decreasing by 0.1% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 4th<\/sup> quarter of 2024, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover increased both in value and volume (+0.4% and +0.2% respectively) when compared to the previous quarter. In the same period, the services turnover increased by 0.8% in value and 0.7 in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On a year-on-year basis, in December 2024, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index dropped in both value (-7.2%) and volume (-7.7%), registering a 7.0% decrease in value in the domestic market (-8.3% in volume) and a 7.5% drop (-6.4% in volume) in the non-domestic one.
