In September, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index decreased by 0.3% in value (-0.1% in volume) in the month on month series (-0.9% in value and -0.6% in volume in the domestic market and +0.9% in value and +0.7% in volume in the non domestic one).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In September, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index for Total services increased in the month on month series by 0.5% (+0.7% in volume).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the third quarter of 2024, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover dropped both in value and volume (-1.3% and -1.8% respectively) compared with the previous quarter. In the same period, the services turnover decreased by 0.3% in value and by 0.9% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a year-on-year basis, in September 2024, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index contracted in both value (-5.7%) and volume (-4.7%), registering a 6.8% decrease in the domestic market (-6.2% in volume) and a 3.6% decrease (-1.7% in volume) in the non-domestic market. Calendar working days in September 2024 were 21 the same as in September 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In services, when compared with the same month a year earlier, turnover decreased by 0.6% in value and by 1.4% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
