In August 2024, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction is estimated to decrease by 1.8% compared to July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the three-month period ending in August 2024, construction production rose by 0.1% compared to the previous three month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a year-on-year basis, the calendar-adjusted index was down 0.3% (calendar working days being 21 versus 22 in August 2023), while the unadjusted index dropped by 3.7%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first eight months of 2024, the calendar-adjusted index increased by 6.8%, while the unadjusted index rose by 7.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
