In August 2024, exports to non-EU27 countries decreased by 7.4% and imports decreased by 6.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In August 2024, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 0.8% and imports by 0.3% compared with July 2024. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 2.5% decrease in outgoing flows and a 1.3% decrease in incoming flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In August 2024, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 2,687 million euro compared with a surplus of 3,081 million euro in August 2023; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 6,930 million euro, down compared with an 8,176-million-euro surplus in August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
