In July, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index decreased by 0.4% in value (-0.3% in volume) in the month on month series (+0.5% in value and +0.2% in volume in the domestic market and -2.4% in value and -1.3% in volume in the non domestic one).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In July, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index for Total services increased in the month on month series by 1.9% (+1.8% in volume).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the three-month period May-July 2024, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover dropped both in value and volume (-1.9% and -1.6% respectively) when compared with the previous three months. In the same period, the services turnover increased in value by 0.4% and decreased by 0.1% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a year-on-year basis, in July 2024, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index contracted in both value (-4.7%) and volume (-3.9%), registering a 4.7% decrease in the domestic market (-4.3% in volume) and a 4.6% decrease (-3,1% in volume) in the non-domestic market. Calendar working days in July 2024 were 23 versus 21 days in July 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In services, when compared with the same month a year earlier, turnover increased by 4.4% in value and 2.3% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
