ANPR is the national database that simplifies demographic services to encourage the digitalising of services for citizens, enterprises and organisations. ANPR also represents an unmissable opportunity to modernise the entire demography and population official statistics production system, for which administrative population registries remain the primary source. If appropriately queried, ANPR data, indeed, provide timely, certified and high-quality statistical information.
