In May, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index for Total services decreased in the month on month series by 0.6% (-0.4% in volume).

Over the three months leading to May 2024, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover decreased both in value and volume (-2,5%) when compared with the previous three-month period. In services, turnover increased in value by 0.3% (+0.4% in volume).

On a year-on-year basis, in May 2024, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index contracted both in value (-4.8%) in volume (-3.4%), marking a 4.4% decrease in the domestic market (-3.2% in volume) and a 5.5% decrease (-3.6% in volume) in the non-domestic market. Calendar working days in May 2024 were 22 as in May 2023.
In services, when compared with the same month a year earlier, turnover increased by 0.9% in value and 1.2% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
