The same trend was observed both in the domestic market (-3.3% in value and -2.7% in volume) and in the non-domestic market (-1.9% in value and -1.5% in volume). <\/p>\n
In March, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index for Total services decreased in the month on month series in value by 1.1% and in volume by 1.5%.<\/p>\n
In the first quarter 2024, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover decreased in both value (-2.6%) and volume (-2.1%) when compared with the previous quarter. In services, turnover increased in value by 0.3% and by 0.5% in volume.<\/p>\n
On a year-on-year basis, in March 2024, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index contracted both in value (-5.1%) and in volume (-3.8%), marking a 6.8% decrease in the domestic market (-4.6% in volume) and a 1.8 decrease (-2.3%) in the non-domestic market. Calendar working days in March 2024 were 21, two less than March 2023.<\/p>\n
