In February, estimates for seasonally adjusted turnover index for Total services decreased in the month on month series in value by 0.3% and remained unchanged in volume.<\/p>\n
In the three-month period ending February 2024, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover decreased in value (-0.9%) and increased in volume (+0.5%) when compared with the previous three-month period. In services, turnover increased by 0.9% (both in value and in volume).<\/p>\n
On a year-on-year basis, in February 2024, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index fell in value (-1.7%) and increased in volume (+0.7%), marking a 2.5% decrease in the domestic market (+0.6% in volume) and a substantially stability (-0.1%) in the non-domestic market (+0.9% in volume). Calendar working days in February 2024 were 21, one less than February 2023.<\/p>\n
In services, when compared with the same month a year earlier, turnover increased by 3.0% in value and 4.0% in volume.<\/p>\n
