In three months to November 2023 value of sales slightly contracted by 0.1% and volume of sales decreased by 0.8% when compared with the previous three-month period.<\/p>\n
Value of retail trade, in November 2023, continued to grow for the 32nd month in a row in the year on year series, rising by 1.5%, while volume sales fell by 2.2%.<\/p>\n
In November 2023, when compared with the same month a year earlier, large-scale distribution was up 3.4%, small-scale distribution decreased by 0.3% and non-store retail sales dropped by 0.9%. <\/p>\n
Online sales grew by 0.6% when compared with November 2022. <\/p>\n
Looking at the value of sales for non-food products, data outlined a mixed picture across different categories in the year on year series.
