In April 2023 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover dropped in the month on month by 1.8% (-2.5% in the domestic market and -0.5% in the non-domestic one).<\/p>\n
In the three months to April 2023, total industrial turnover levels decreased by 0.4% when compared with the previous three-month period (-0.1% in the domestic market and -1.3% in the non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index were down 8% comparing to April 2022 (-2.5% in the domestic market and -0.4% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in April 2023 were 18, one less than April 2022.<\/p>\n
Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 2.4% in April 2023; in the three months to April 2023 it dropped by 1.2% compared with the previous three-month period.
