In the first quarter of 2023 the seasonally and calendar adjusted, chained volume measure of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 0.6% to the previous quarter and by 1.9% in comparison with the first quarter of 2022. <\/p>\n
Compared to previous quarter, final consumption expenditure increased by 0.7%, gross fixed capital formation increased by 0.8%, whereas both imports and exports decreased, respectively by 1% and 1.4%. <\/p>\n
With respect to the first quarter of 2022, final consumption expenditure increased by 2.5%, gross fixed capital formation by 3.3%, imports by 0.3%, and exports by 2.1%.<\/p>\n
