In March 2023, exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 6.6% and imports decreased by 28.1% compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n
In March 2023, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports decreased by 4.6% and imports decreased by 12.9% compared with February 2023. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 1.3% increase in outgoing flows and a 19.2% decrease in incoming flows.<\/p>\n
In March 2023 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 8,455 million euro compared to deficit of 793 million euro in March 2022; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 13,780 million euro, up compared with a 7,753-million-euro surplus in March 2022.<\/p>\n
