In February 2023, compared with the same month of the previous year, both exports and imports grew (+10.8% and +3.1% respectively). Outgoing flows increased by +5.5% for EU countries and by +17.2% for non-Eu countries. Incoming flows rose by +11.4% for Eu area and decreased by -6.5% for non-Eu area. <\/p>\n
In February 2023, trade balance registered a surplus of +2,108 million Euros (-1,889 million Euros deficit for Eu countries and +3,997 million Euros surplus for non-Eu countries). Excluding energy, trade balance surplus reached +7,919 million Euros.<\/p>\n
In February 2023, import prices decrease by 1.7% on monthly basis (-0.1% for the euro zone, -3.0% for the non-euro zone). Over the last three months, compared to the previous three months, import prices decreased by 5.1% (-0.3% for the euro zone, -9.0% for the non-euro zone).<\/p>\n
