{"id":27255,"date":"2022-10-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-19T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nuovowww.collaudo.istat.it\/non-categorizzato\/istatdata-the-istats-new-platform-for-aggregate-data-dissemination\/"},"modified":"2024-06-08T22:09:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-08T20:09:12","slug":"istatdata-the-istats-new-platform-for-aggregate-data-dissemination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/news\/istatdata-the-istats-new-platform-for-aggregate-data-dissemination\/","title":{"rendered":"New platform Istatdata"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esploradati.istat.it\/databrowser\/#\/en\">IstatData<\/a> is Istat&#8217;s new aggregate data dissemination platform that will gradually replace the I.Stat data access system.<\/p>\n<p>IstatData allows users to browse the same content as the previous system enriched with graphs, maps and thematic-level summary dashboards.\u00a0 In addition, the new platform allows users to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"lista\">\n<li>customize tables and charts and view them in full screen;<\/li>\n<li>compare data tables by bookmarking them;<\/li>\n<li>search for information through a combination of textual and thematic tools;<\/li>\n<li>share the url of the selected data table;<\/li>\n<li>download graph images and data in different formats (excel, sdmx, csv, json);<\/li>\n<li>view data quickly thanks to an innovative caching system;<\/li>\n<li>navigate data by individual territory in dashboards with &#8220;Spatial Tables.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>access machine-to-machine data available through a special API, as described in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/methods-and-tools\/sdmx-web-service\">Web service SDMX\u00a0section<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new platform provides access to navigation tables organized by themes and sub-themes found in the &#8220;DATA&#8221; section. It is also possible to consult thematic prospectuses with interactive tables, charts and maps for a summary view of the phenomena represented, contained in the &#8220;SUMMARY DATA&#8221; section.<\/p>\n<p>The platform makes use of the open source tools &#8220;Data Browser&#8221; and &#8220;Meta &amp; Data Manager&#8221; developed by Istat following the international SDMX (Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange) standard for exchanging and sharing statistical data and metadata.<\/p>\n<p>This first release of the new platform presents\u00a0six themes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"lista\">\n<li>National Accounts,<\/li>\n<li>Population and Households,<\/li>\n<li>Household Economic Conditions,<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture,<\/li>\n<li>Enterprises,<\/li>\n<li>Welfare and Pension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Until the population is completed- forseen in early 2023-the new platform will coexist with the I.Stat system allowing access to updated data from both platforms.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esploradati.istat.it\/databrowser\/#\/en\">IstatData: direct access to statistics<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IstatData is Istat&#8217;s new aggregate data dissemination platform that will gradually replace the I.Stat data access system.
