In May 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased on a monthly basis by 1.4% (+1.5% in the domestic market and +1.1% in the non-domestic one).<\/p>\n
In the three months to May 2022 total industrial turnover levels increased by 7.8% when compared with the previous three-month period (+8.0% in the domestic market and +7.3% in the non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 6% comparing with May 2021 (+24.2% in the domestic market and +22.4% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in May 2022 were 22, one more than May 2021.<\/p>\n
Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index decreased in May 2022 by 0.3% when compared with the previous month and increased by 2.4% when compared with the previous three-month period.
