In April 2022 seasonally-adjusted data, compared to March 2022, increased by +1.5% for outgoing flows and by +7.0% for incoming flows. Exports raised by +1.2% for EU countries and by +1.8% for non EU countries. Imports grew by +6.0% for EU countries and by +8.1% for non EU countries.<\/p>\n
Over the last three months, seasonally-adjusted data, compared to the previous three months, increased by +6.9% for exports and by +11.6% for imports.<\/p>\n
In April 2022, compared with the same month of the previous year, both exports and imports grew (+14.9% and +42.4% respectively). Outgoing flows increased by +17.7% for EU countries and by +11.9% for non EU countries. Incoming flows rose by +27.7% for EU area and by +62.0% for non EU area. The trade balance in April 2022 amounted to -3,666 million Euros (-955 million Euros for EU countries and -2,711 million Euros for non EU countries).<\/p>\n
In April 2022, import prices increased by 2.7% on monthly basis (+1.4% for the euro zone, +3.8% for the non-euro zone). Over the last three months, compared to the previous three months, import prices increased by 6.4% (+3.6% for the euro zone, +9.0% for the non-euro zone).<\/p>\n
