Data on Italy\u2019s foreign trade with non-EU27\u00a0countries in April 2022 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in April 2022 will be disseminated on coming 17 June 2022.<\/p>\n
In April 2022 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 11.8% and imports rose by 59.3% compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n
In April 2022, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 1.9% and imports increased by 6.4% compared with March 2022. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 7.2% increase in outgoing flows and a 17.9% rise in incoming flows.<\/p>\n
In April 2022 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a deficit of 2,292 million euro compared to the surplus of 4,858 million euro in April 2021; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 6,570 million euro, down compared with a 7,760-million-euro surplus in April 2021.<\/p>\n
