Data on Italy\u2019s foreign trade with non-EU27\u00a0countries in February 2022 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in February 2022 will be disseminated on coming 20 April 2022.<\/p>\n
In February 2022 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 21.0% and imports rose by 69.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n
In February 2022, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 1.9% and imports increased by 9.8% compared with January 2022. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 5.0% increase in outgoing flows and a 16.5% rise in incoming flows.<\/p>\n
In February 2022 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a deficit of 1,555 million euro compared to the surplus of 4,149 million euro in February 2021; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 5,628 million euro, down compared with a 6,254 million euro surplus in February 2021.<\/p>\n
