Data on Italy\u2019s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in January 2022 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in January 2022 will be disseminated on coming 18 March 2022.<\/p>\n
In January 2022 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 19.0% and imports rose by 65.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n
In January 2022, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 5.3% and imports increased by 10.1% compared with December 2021. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 4.2% increase in outgoing flows and a 11.0% rise in incoming flows.<\/p>\n
In January 2022 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a deficit of 4,174 million euro compared to the surplus of 1,775 million euro in January 2021; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 2,259 million euro, down compared with a 3,978 million euro surplus in January 2021.<\/p>\n
