Data on Italy\u2019s foreign trade with non-EU27\u00a0countries in August 2021 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in August 2021 will be disseminated on coming 15 October 2021.<\/p>\n
In August 2021 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 15.7% and imports rose by 39.9% compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n
In August 2021, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports decreased by 5.0% and imports increased by 6.5% compared with July 2021. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 3.1% increase in outgoing flows and a 6.7% rise in incoming flows.<\/p>\n
In August 2021 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 1,583 million euro compared to the surplus of 3.581 million euro in August 2020; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 4,719 million euro, down compared with a 5,231 million euro surplus in August 2020.<\/p>\n
