In July 2021 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of retail trade slightly decreased in the month on month series by 0.4% in value terms and fell by 0.7% in volume terms.<\/p>\n
In the three months to July 2021 value of sales rose by 0.5% when compared with the previous three-month period, likewise volume increased by 0.4%.<\/p>\n
In July 2021 both value and volume of retail trade continued to grow for the 5th<\/sup> month in a row in the year on year series. Value sales increased by 6.7% and volume sales rose by 8.8% comparing to July 2020.<\/p>\n In July 2021, all channels of distribution increased when compared with July 2020. Large-scale distribution was up 5.6%, small-scale distribution grew by 8.2% and non-store retail sales rose by 2.6%.<\/p>\n Online sales recorded the smallest growth since November 2019 (+3.7%).
