The event intended to facilitate engagement across G20 members, notably experts from national statistical authorities, to share experiences and challenges in measuring the digital economy; its results will be debated in the next DETF meeting to find consensus on further action.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was supported by short issues notes for two of the main items discussed, i.e.\u00a0 the <a href=\"http:\/\/docs5.istat.it\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Issue-note-measurement-of-AI-in-official-statistics-DETF-workshop-2021-02-18.pdf\">measurement of artificial intelligence<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/docs5.istat.it\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Issue-note-measurement-of-digital-gender-divide-in-official-statistics-DETF-workshop-2021-02-18.pdf\">measurement of the digital gender divide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers included UN Agencies, the European Commission, the OECD and the National Statistical Institute of Canada, Italy, Japan, Korea, the USA.
