The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index increased by 15.1% compared to July (+14.7% in domestic market and +15.6% in non-domestic market); the average of the last three months rose by +47.3% compared to the previous three months (+55.9% in domestic market and +36.2% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
With respect to the same month of the previous year the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index decreased by 3.8% (-2.2% in domestic market and -7.0% in non-domestic market). Calendar working days in August 2020 were 21 as in August 2019. <\/p>\n
The unadjusted industrial new orders index increased by 6.1% with respect to the same month of the previous year (+6.8% in domestic market and +5.3% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index (only for the manufacturing sector) increased by 3.0% compared to the previous month; the average of the last three months rose by 34.8% compared to the previous three months.
