In December 2019 the seasonally adjusted turnover index decreased by 3.0% compared to the previous month (-2.9% the domestic market and -3.1 % in non-domestic market); the average of the last quarter decreased by 0.6% compared to theprevious one (-0.4% in domestic market and -0.7% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index increased by 1.4% compared to November (+6.9% in domestic market and -6.4% in non-domestic market); the average of the last quarter increased by +1.9% compared to the previous one (+3.3% in domestic market and -0.2% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
With respect to the same month of the previous year the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index decreased by 1.4% (-1.8% in domestic market and -0.7% in non-domestic market). Calendar working days in December 2019 were 20, one more than December 2018.<\/p>\n
The unadjusted industrial new orders index increased by 6.0% with respect to the same month of the previous year (+12.6% in domestic market and -3.6% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index (only for the manufacturing sector) decreased by 3.0% compared tothe previous month; the average of the last quarter decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous three months.<\/p>\n
