Construction output decreased by 1.7% in the 4th<\/sup> Quarter of 2019, compared with the previous quarter.<\/p>\n The year-on-year calendar adjusted index for production in construction contracted by 1.3% (20 calendar working days in December 2019 versus 19 days in December 2018), while the unadjusted index increased by 2.2%.<\/p>\n Looking at annual growth rates, the whole of 2019 shows an increase of 2.0% in the calendar adjusted series, while the unadjusted index grew by 2.2%.
