The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index increased by 1.1% compared to July (+1.1% in domestic market and +1.0% in non-domestic market); the average of the last three months decreased by 1.6% compared to the previous three ones (+0.1% in domestic market and -3.8% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
With respect to the same month of the previous year the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index decreased by 2.2% (-1.8% in domestic market and -2.9% in non-domestic market). Calendar working days in August 2019 were 21, one less than August 2018.<\/p>\n
The unadjusted industrial new orders index decreased by 10.0% with respect to the same month of the previous year (-4.0% in domestic market and -16.3% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index (only for the manufacturing sector) decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month; the last three months decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous three ones.
