In June 2019 seasonally-adjusted data, compared to May 2019, increased for outgoing flows (+1.2%) and decreased for incoming flows (-2.1%). Exports rose for non EU countries (+3.9%) and fell for EU countries (-1.0%). Imports decreased by -3.1% for EU countries and by -0.5% for non EU countries.<\/p>\n
Over the last three months, seasonally-adjusted data, compared to the three months earlier, increased either for exports (+1.7%) and imports (+1.2%).<\/p>\n
In June 2019, compared with the same month of the previous year, both exports and imports decreased (-3.5% and -5.5% respectively). Outgoing flows fell by -4.6% for EU countries and by -2.1% for non EU countries. Incoming flows decreased for both EU area and non EU area (-6.1% and -4.7% respectively). The trade balance in June 2019 amounted to +5,728 million Euros (+3,852 million Euros for non EU area and +1,876 million Euros for EU countries).<\/p>\n
In June 2019, the total import prices index decreased by 1.4% compared to the previous month (for the euro zone the index decreased by 0.2% and 2.2% for the non-euro zone); the total twelve-month rate of change decreased by 1.6% (respectively increased by 0.1% for the euro zone and decreased by 3.1% for the non-euro zone).<\/p>\n
