The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index decreased by 2.4% compared to March (-1.0% in domestic market and -4.1% in non-domestic market); the average of the last three months decreased by 1.4% when compared to the previous three months (-0.7% in domestic market and -2.4% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
With respect to the same month of the previous year the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index decreased by 0.7% (+0.4% in domestic market and -2.8% in non-domestic market). Calendar working days in April 2019 were 20, one more than April 2018.<\/p>\n
The unadjusted industrial new orders index decreased by 0.2% with respect to the same month of the previous year (+0.2% in domestic market and -0.8% in non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index (only for the manufacturing sector) decreased by 1.1% compared to the previous month; the average of the last three months increased by 1.0% when compared to the previous three months.
