The building permits indicators measure the quarterly evolution in the number of dwellings used for residential purposes, square metres of residential useful floor area and square metres of non-residential area using the Classification of types of Construction (CC).<\/p>\n
The number of dwellings in new buildings increased by 8.7% in first quarter 2018 with respect to first quarter 2017.<\/p>\n
The useful floor area increased by 6.8% in the first quarter compared with the same period of 2017.<\/p>\n
Non-residential area increased by 53.3% in the first quarter of 2018 with respect to first quarter 2017.<\/p>\n
The number of dwellings in new buildings increased by 7.6% in the first quarter 2018 with respect to fourth quarter 2017.<\/p>\n
The useful floor area increased by 9.8% in the first quarter compared with previous quarters.<\/p>\n
