The building permits indicators measure the quarterly evolution in the number of dwellings used for residential purposes, square metres of residential useful floor area and square metres of non-residential area using the Classification of types of Construction (CC).<\/p>\n
The number of dwellings in new buildings increased by 5.7% in fourth quarter 2017 with respect to fourth quarter 2016.<\/p>\n
The useful floor area increased by 7.0% in the fourth quarter compared with the same period of 2016.
\nNon-residential area increased by 8.9% in the fourth quarter of 2017 with respect to fourth quarter 2016.<\/p>\n
The number of dwellings in new buildings decreased by 4.4% in the fourth quarter with respect to third quarter 2017. <\/p>\n
The useful floor area decreased by 3.7% in the fourth quarter compared with previous quarters.<\/p>\n
Non-residential area decreased by 16.4% in the fourth quarter of 2017 respect to third quarter 2017; the latter, however, was one of the highest values since 2006.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
