In the first quarter of 2017 the seasonally and calendar adjusted, chained volume measure of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 0.4 per cent with respect to the fourth quarter of 2016 and by 1.2 per cent in comparison with the first quarter of 2016. <\/p>\n
Compared to the fourth quarter of 2016, final consumption expenditure increased by 0.5 per cent while gross fixed capital formation decreased by 0.8 per cent; imports and exports increased by 1.6 per cent and 0.7 per cent respectively. <\/p>\n
